You didn’t know that Craig is probably best known as a vintage racer, having raced all over the world on motorcycles manufactured before he was born. But not before Nichols was born.

A lifelong motorcyclist, Craig's family owned one of the oldest dealerships in the country, selling it in 2003 after 39 years. At the school, Craig is one of our STAR camera bike pilots. When he isn't mountain biking on Mt Tam (illegally) or dirt riding at the Marin Motorcycle Club, Craig is playing with his kids Colin, Margaret, and Rory.

Racing History
Craig has competed in the Isle of Man TT Races nine times, placing in the top 10 three times. His coulda/shoulda/woulda was a mechanical failure while leading the 1998 Singles TT on his Supermono, on the last lap.

2002: 4th place IOM TT 400 Supersport.
1998 1st place Transatlantic Match Races (Matchless G50) - Laguna Seca Raceway.
1993 New Comer's Award IOM Junior TT.
1992 1st place Japan Time Tunnel 500 Premier(Matchless G50).
1991 1st place Japan Time Tunnel 500 Premier(Matchless G50).
1989 AHRMA 350GP Champion (Manx Norton).

He broke while leading the 1998 Isle of Man Singles race on his Ducati Supermono.
