Always 2 Groups?
We don't just run a two-group format at the less expensive venues - STAR always runs a two-group format. You receive more instruction, and more tracktime.
Why $o much?
A quick look at the prices shows that STAR charges more. But you need to dig a little deeper when comparing us to those three-group schools and trackdays. Let's do the simple math:
Including lunch and delays during the day, most events provide 6 hours of green track. Broken up into 20 minute sessions (the level of concentration that most riders can maintain), there are 18 sessions(6x3) in a day.
A trackday or trackday that provides instruction, running the common three-group format, will provide 6 on-track sessions*. One every hour. STAR always runs a 2-group format(not just at the tracks that have the lowest rental fees). Based on 6 hours of green track, our students get 9 sessions* on the track. One every forty minutes.
Multiply the cost of that bargain school or trackday * 1.5. And suddenly it isn't the bargain it appeared it to be.
*number of sessions is estimated based on most track rental agreements, and is subject to track delays, etc.
